Dear patients,
Dr. Ziemann studied at Saarland University. After receiving his doctorate in the field of vascular therapies for hepatic metastatic colorectal cancer and working for several years as a resident physician, he joined the Heart and Vascular Center Freiburg-Bad Krozingen in 2017. There, he gained extensive experience in endovascular and open vascular surgery, including under Prof. Dr. Zeller, and obtained his board certification in vascular surgery in 2017.
During this time, Dr. Ziemann obtained the title of Endovascular Surgeon (DGG).
In 2019, Dr. Ziemann began working at the Schwarzwald-Baar Clinic in Villingen-Schwenningen as a senior physician for vascular surgery and responsible for training and continuing education. He was also responsible for carotid surgery.
From 2022, Dr. Ziemann worked as a senior physician at the Department of Vascular Surgery at the Klinikum Mutterhaus der Borromäerinnen Trier, where he was responsible for training and continuing education, aortic surgery, and served as the transfusion officer. During this time, he earned the title of Endovascular Specialist (DGG).
Dr. Ziemann has held a license to practice as a vascular surgeon in Luxembourg since 2025.
