Dear patients,

Professor Moussavian studied at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel. Following the completion of his training in visceral and endovascular surgery, he obtained his specialist titles in general surgery and vascular surgery.

As part of the explantation and transplantation program at Saarland University Hospital, Professor Moussavian was involved in liver transplantation as deputy head of the department. In his role as head of the Department of Vascular Surgery and medical director of the Vascular Center, he was also authorized to provide comprehensive postgraduate training for vascular surgeons. Alongside his clinical work, he continued his research at the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Surgery in the fields of transplantation and vascular surgery, and in 2011 he received his habilitation on the topic of liver transplantation surgery.

In 2013, Prof. Moussavian began working at the Endovascular Center Lingen, where he earned the titles of Endovascular Surgeon (DGG), Endovascular Specialist (DGG), and Specialist in Visceral Surgery.
